2019 Trivia Night & Auction Fundraiser

The 36th Annual Fundraiser was held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Knights of Columbus. Festivities included a trivia event with food, cash bar, silent and live auction fun, and 50/50 raffles. Tickets were $12 per person. The proceeds will go towards classroom materials and tuckpointing the building. We are working little by little towards the restoration of the 105-year old building, as well as adding to the educational materials and needs of the children.

Moreau Montessori relies on parent involvement during the year. That involvement can be in the form of time given to help with an activity, such as a field trip, or giving a presentation to the students. It can also be helping with the annual fundraiser by either participating in the organization and gathering of items for auction or by making a monetary contribution. As a not-for-profit, the school greatly appreciates any donations our families and friends would like to make. The teachers strive to maintain and upgrade materials for the classroom to educate the children. The historic building is also in need of its own upgrades. We recently completed a grant project where the building received a new roof and new AC unit for an upstairs classroom. That classroom is now the elementary classroom with lots of space and materials for the older children.
